PEDESTALS FOR GATED ENTRYWAYS
Gooseneck pedestals are used to mount keypads, card readers and intercoms to entry points. When used for vehicle access the height of the entry device is about 42" from the street level to the center of the device. If used as a curb mount, the entry device is about 36" from the curb level to the center of the device. The pedestal is mounted directly to the top of the street or curb with four (4) concrete anchors. If used as a ground mount, ou will need to place the pedestal pole directly into a post hole and pour concrete around it. This pedestal can be set at 36" or 42" to the center of the device.
When used for truck access the height of the entry device is about 72" from the street level to the center of the device. If used as a curb mount, the entry device is about 66" from the top of the curb to the center of the device. The pedestal is mounted directly to the top of the street or curb with four (4) concrete anchors or install the pedestal onto a concrete anchor.
All Pedestals are made of reinforced PVC/ABS pipe and steel construction with up to a 15" throw, 1/4" wall thickness makes the pedestal as strong and as durable as a metal pedestal. The pedestals are weather resistant and are coated with a black texture finish. The pedestals are lighter in weigh, which makes it easier to handle and reduces shipping costs.
